Pamela Mahan, PA-C

Founder & Co-Owner

Pamela is an aesthetic-trained physician assistant who received her education from the University of Florida and her Masters's degree from the University of Nebraska. Pamela has been practicing medicine for over 20 years with experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy/Holistic Medicine, and most recently Plastic Surgery. Pamela has personally performed all the procedures provided in our Medical Spa on hundreds of patients through the years and seen incredible results. Pamela has also worked with skin care patients for more than fifteen years making skin care Consults one of her areas of expertise. Pamela is the Founder of Youthful Medical Spa. Helping patients achieve their ultimate goals through the latest medical and holistic anti-aging approaches is her first priority.

Troy Mahan

NBC-HIS Chief Operating Officer & Co-Owner

Troy is the Chief Operating Officer of Youthful Medical Spa and co-owner. His experience includes the ownership and business development of 47 diagnostic centers in five different states.
Troys’ extensive business background helps Youthful Medical Spa stay on the cutting edge with all the latest in cosmetic procedures while maintaining the highest level of customer service. He has built all of his businesses under one idea, (Service above self) Troy understands that our Medical Spa is all about the patient and their experiences. Troy is also the owner of several hearing aid practices… including Clear Ear, Medical Hearing in Jacksonville Beach, Arlington Expressway North Jacksonville and Orange Park.

Keri Vahey

Practice Administrator

Keri grew up in chilly Connecticut, wanting to warm up and enjoy palm trees she headed to school in South Carolina and Florida. She got her Esthetics license 18 years ago in both states and began pursuing a nursing degree. A few years later she decided Esthetics was her passion and continued down that path as her career. Keri has worked for luxurious resorts that include The Ritz Carlton & the Breakers. She soon transferred from an Esthetician to a management position. Keri met her husband in Orlando, where they soon realized they were from the same small town and even shared mutual friends, yet had never met prior. They moved to West Palm Beach where she resided as a Spa Manager/Director. After a few years, her husband received a transfer opportunity and Keri found her new home at Youthful Medical Spa. Keri has a passion for skincare and loves learning about ingredients in products, paired with Youthful Medical Spa’s cutting-edge machines, to see fantastic real results!

Julie Duke

Spa Director

Julie was raised in Atlanta, Georgia where she resided for 26 years. She moved to Ponte Vedra Beach after getting married and has raised 3 beautiful daughters. After attending college at West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia, Julie was employed with a popular skincare and cosmetic line where she developed a deep understanding and passion for the importance of caring for your skin by being proactive rather than reactive to combating the natural process of aging. Her knowledge of this importance has been instilled in her daughters, family and close friends. Julie enjoys friendly and informative conversations with clients speaking of her expertise in the many ways to enhance their skin care regimen that will best suits their needs.

Leighton Peterson

Spa Manager

Leighton Peterson has been a Spa Manager with Youthful Medical Spa for over 2 years. After attending Jacksonville University, where she double majored in Communications and Musical Theater, Leighton ventured into the corporate world – over the years, she has gained experience in many fields, from supply chain management and logistics to human resources and management. Leighton found her niche in the world of medical aesthetics and has loved every second of it. Over the years, Leighton has become a provider and trainer for services such as TempSure and Hydrafacial and is also a Master Certified CoolSculpting Technician, having attended the exclusive CoolSculpting University and CoolSculpting University Masters Series in New Jersey.Outside of the office, Leighton is a seasoned pageant competitor. She has earned several titles over the years and represented Daytona Beach at Miss Florida USA. Nowadays, you can find her at home with her menagerie of animals and husband – cuddled up with a warm cup of coffee.

Christine Mason

Membership Director

Christine is Youthful Medical Spa’s Membership Director and has been for over a decade! Christine has been in the medical spa industry since 2008 and has worked for some of the top cosmetic surgeons in Jacksonville. Christine is a native of Jacksonville she studied at Florida community college specialized is floral design. She has 20 years of management and design experience; she was Director of product development for a national candy company. She also has many years in retail sales experiences and owned her own flower shop for 5 years. Her aesthetics experience and knowledge of cosmetic procedures enables her to be able to give our clients accurate information on all our products are services. In Christine’s free time, she loves to enjoy a walk through nature or try really unique dining experiences.

Pamela Montano, PA-C

Aesthetic Trained Physcian Assistant

Pamela Montano, PA-C, is an aesthetic trained Physician Assistant and our lead injector at Youthful Medical Spa. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine and has practiced in North Florida for more than 25 years. Having worked in several fields of medicine, she's found her true calling in Aesthetic Medicine. Pamela is a Master Level Injector and has received training from some of the world's most prestigious injectors. She holds a passion for knowledge and a personal commitment to lifelong learning. Her unique approach to treating aesthetic patients is built on skills developed over a lifetime of experience; her extensive medical knowledge, keen attention to detail, and ability to listen and collaborate with her patients. Pamela ceaselessly strives to help each patient find the best methods to reveal his or her natural beauty. Pamela will welcome you with her warm and sincere smile, and leave you feeling confident and well taken care of!

Kristin Skipper, DNP

Aesthetic Trained Nurse Practitioner

Kristin is an advanced practice registered nurse and board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of North Florida. She is dedicated to continued education and eager to help her clients achieve their aesthetic goals. Kristin is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, American Nurses Association, and International Society of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Nurses. Kristin has been in the nursing profession since 2012 and has experience working in obstetrics, telemetry, and education. What she enjoys most about aesthetics is the relationships she is able to develop with her clients. Kristin’s professional goal is to help others remain happy and confident by enhancing their natural beauty. In her time away from work, Kristin enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and son, and staying active.

Peter Frisone

Dual Board Certified in Aesthetics & Family Practice

Peter is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in aesthetics and family medicine with over 13 years of patient care experience. Peter joined the Youthful Medical Spa family in August of 2022 while still running his own medical spa in New York. In December, Peter and his family moved to Jacksonville, and he is now a full-time injector at YMS offering injectable services such as Botox, fillers, Kybella, PRFM/PRP face and hair, and more. Peter enjoys working with his patients to reach their aesthetic goals and enhance their natural features - Peter's attention to detail and thorough evaluation, combined with years of advanced training and experience, make him one of Jacksonville's newest up-and-coming aesthetic providers.

Morgan Brillon

Licensed Medical Esthetician

Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, Morgan got her esthetician license at First Coast Technical College in St. Augustine Florida and has been an aesthetician with Youthful Medical Spa for over two years. Morgan has always found a joy in esthetics and doing corrective driven treatments, like Clear&Brilliant, Thermage, and the exclusive YMS Combination treatments. Morgan enjoys building relationships with her clients as well as helping them reach their aesthetic goals with their skin – whether they are tackling acne, sun damage, or aging. When not in the spa, Morgan enjoys being outside and traveling with her dog Moose.

Samantha Arora

Licensed Medical Aesthetician & CoolSculpting Technician

Samantha is a medical esthetician and CoolSculpting technician here at Youthful Medical Spa. Samantha specializes in incorporating holistic healing within medical procedures. Her passion is focused on helping others grow confident in their skin, while leaving them relaxed and rejuvenated. Aside from Youthful Renaissance facials, a few of her favorite procedures to perform are Clear&Brilliant, HydraFacial, and dermaplaning. With her attention to detail, she enjoys CoolSculpting the body to help patients feel more confident. Samantha believes body contouring is an art. The science behind the process is what fascinates her most – she’s also a proud graduate from Coolsculpting University from Allergan Aesthetics Medical Institute! Samantha enjoys educating her clients, while building lasting relationships with them. She is always looking to advance her education and frequently attends classes to advance her skillset and knowledge. Her personal mantra is to spread positivity and make sure each client leaves happier than they were when they came. In her spare time, Samatha enjoys being a makeup artist and loves creating lifelong memories with her bridal clients.
When not doing makeup, you might find Samantha working on photography and exploring nature trails with her two dogs.

Jeri Francis

Licensed Medical Esthetician

The science behind skincare is what initially drew her to this field and happy clients are what kept her pursuing the latest techniques in the industry. Jeri has had problems with hyper-pigmentation and melasma herself, which led her to learn more about the causes and treatments for it. She believes that continuing education plays a huge role in keeping up with the constantly changing trends in skincare. She has extensive knowledge and certifications in a variety of different chemical peels. She loves to provide personalized skin care for each client her table. Jeri was previously an Instructor and Program Manager for Aesthetics at an Allied Health College. Her passion is educating every patient on how the treatments work will benefit them and how using specific products at home can enhance their results. At youthful she specializes in chemical peels as well as the more advanced treatments such as Collagen Induction therapy and Clear+Brilliant.

Kasadee Mahan

Licensed Medical Esthetician & Laser Technician

Kasadee is a medical esthetician and Laser tech at Youthful Medical Spa. She graduated from Parisian Spa Institute with both her licenses. She is passionate about helping people feel comfortable in the own skin and accentuating everyone’s natural beauty. Her passion started with makeup artistry and lead to a love for all things skin. She believes in always furthering her education as the industry is always changing.

Katie Olvera

Licensed Medical Esthetician

Katie Olvera is a licensed medical esthetician and has been practicing for over 4 years. Her favorite services are Hydrafacial and Jet Plasma. Katie has a deep interest in looking at the overall lifestyle habits of each individual client and creating a skincare diet based on their specific needs. Facial massage and anti-aging are her specialties. When she is not working, she is either spending time with her husband, family, or catching up on her latest Netflix series. She can’t wait to see you and help you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself!

Patty Perez

Licensed Medical Esthetician

Patricia (Patty) is a licensed medical aesthetician with Youthful Medical Spa. She graduated from Parisian Spa Institute with a license in Esthetics. Her passion for skin care was born at a young age when her mother started selling Mary Kay products and would take her along as her model. Initially, Patty’s main goal was preventing acne but as she matured and began working in the airline industry anti-aging became her new passion. Friends and colleagues would often come to Patty for advice on the latest skincare routine or makeup tips since their position required them to always look their best. Eventually, Patty realized she wanted to make this her new career. Patty is currently working on an Acne Therapy Specialist certificate and looking forward to sharing her knowledge with her guests. Erin Taylor Simpson, LE

Erin is a Jacksonville native. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University. Before beginning her career in aesthetics, Erin taught tennis at Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, SC for 6 years. She has always had a passion for skincare and beauty. She moved to Tampa to become a Medical Aesthetician, Laser Technician and Electrologist from The Beauty and Health Institute. Erin loves to educate her clients about various modalities and the latest corrective and anti-aging treatments available today. She is committed to her clients and regularly attends aesthetic conferences to learn about new procedures and medical grade skincare products. Erin is also our Lead CoolSculpting Technician. She was chosen to attend Allergan’s Cool University training program and Cool University master’s program and specializes in body contouring with our CoolSculpting Elite machine. When Erin is not in the spa, she is in Atlantic Beach with her yellow lab Sammy, cooking for friends, or enjoying the sunshine on the tennis courts or golf course - Wearing SPF of course!

Karen Cross

Front Desk Supervisor

Karen Cross has over 25 years of working in the salon and medical spa industry. She’s held her cosmetology license since 1995, along with extensive training and certifications with some of the top leading companies in the aesthetic field like Allergan, Repechage’ and Aveda. With her background in management and hospitality, she’s a great fit as the Front Desk Supervisor to help the spa run efficiently while providing stellar customer service.
Karen is a mom of 3 now-adult children (Lauren, Haley, and Harrison) and 1 dog (Chloe). She lives in Ponte Vedra Beach and enjoys tennis, the beach, traveling, and wine tasting with her friends and family.

Emily Figueroa

Licensed Medical Esthetician & Aesthetics Consultant

Emily is an Aesthetic Consultant at Youthful Medical Spa. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2020. From a young age she was always interested in skin care and knew she wanted to have a career helping others feel confident in their own skin. First she became certified as a lash technician. Then got her tattooing license and became certified in microblading and lip blushing. In 2022, Emily got her estheticians license at Jaxel’s Academy. She is certified in Hydrafacial, Jet Plasma, and is a ZO Skin Health Expert. When Emily is not in the office, she enjoys spending time at the dog park with her two dachshunds.

Kaylee Shallenbarger

Front Desk Receptionist & Licensed Medical Esthetican

Kaylee is a member of the Front Desk Team at Youthful Medical Spa. After COVID, Kaylee left her marketing career and the West Coast to move to Jacksonville, FL. Once in Jacksonville, she attended Parisian Spa Institute and graduated as a licensed medical aesthetician. She loves continuously learning how ingredients react with different skin types at a cellular level to achieve what we all want: bright, healthy skin. Her favorite treatment is HydraFacial with dermaplaning. Kaylee hopes to begin practicing as she learns more and more every day about the latest industry best practices and advanced education provided at Youthful Medical Spa. In her free time, she loves reading and spending time with her boyfriend and 5 pets.

Front Desk Receptionist & Licensed Medical Esthetician

Gracie is a member of the Front Desk team at Youthful Medical Spa. Gracie is a licensed medical aesthetician and is excited about starting her career off by gaining knowledge about Youthful Medical Spa’s extensive services and products. Gracie hopes that to move into a medical aesthetician role as she continues her education and expands her knowledge. Demi was raised in Macclenny, Florida and moved to Jacksonville, Fl once graduating high school to attend The University of North Florida. There she earned her Bachelor’s of Healthcare Administration degree with a minor in Leadership with a concentration in Aging. Demi has over 7 years of experience within the healthcare industry. Demi’s had a lifelong passion for skincare and aesthetics. She loves being able to provide her clients with suitable recommendations to help them reach their beauty goals. Outside of the spa, she enjoys spending her free time traveling and making memories with her family.

Caroline Sharko

Aesthetics Consultant

Caroline is an Aesthetic Consultant, raised here in Ponte Vedra. Having a history in medical sales, she enjoys meeting new patients and teaching the range of services we offer!
Her favorite service is PRX Derm Perfexion, from Italy. It gives you a glow, while stimulating collagen and elastin production—without needing to stay out of the sun! You can find her walking the beach or at Brewhound with her dog.
