What happens during a Glass Facial?
Your provider will use the patented Exceed Microneedling pen to infuse a customized solution of Botox and serums underneath the surface of your skin. You can also add on Skinvive by Juvederm for additional plumping! Your treatment will typically take under an hour with minimal discomfort and downtime. No numbing is required for this procedure - many compare the microneedling sensation to a cat licking your skin.
You may see an immediate improvement in your skin, but the full results will take up to 2 weeks to appear. Your Glass Skin facial results will last about 3 to 4 months, after which you can opt for a maintenance treatment. For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 3-4 months apart.
What's used in your Glass Facial?
Your Glass Facial concoction depends on your goal! The most common ingredient requested is Botox, but we also can use Juvederm Skinvive to deliver high-quality HA to give you a lasting glow and plump appearance.
Hyaluronic acid is a soft, gel-like substance that absorbs water and brings deep skin hydration to the treated areas, giving it improved firmness, elasticity, and smoothness.
Botox applied into the dermis (not the muscle) helps *shrink pore openings. This is the only recognized treatment that has an actual physical effect on pore size.
*Intradermal Botox in the arrector pili muscles in the skin helps control pore size* while oil production and sweat are decreased by the lessened function of the glands responsible for their action. *Pore size action is temporary and will return to your “normal” once the Botox wears off.
